Chambers, business organizations stand with Jerry Lewis
As leaders of chambers of commerce and business organizations, we are shocked and dismayed by the outrageous attacks that have been leveled against Sen. Jerry Lewis by his opponents.
Sen. Jerry Lewis is a consistent voice for commonsense, job-creating legislation that will help our economy grow.
But perhaps even more importantly, Sen. Lewis is faithful to the trust voters have placed in him. Unlike his opponent, Sen. Lewis puts his constituents first, doing the people’s business with a manner of class and respect that is all too rare in public life.
As The Arizona Republic said in its endorsement, “Jerry Lewis is the Senate’s most independent voice. In the back halls of the Capitol and on the streets of his district, he has put in the hard work necessary to effectively listen and debate.” The paper called him, “the obvious choice in this race.”
Unfortunately, Sen. Lewis has been shamefully attacked by opponents leveling such outlandish claims that one has to wonder whether they’ve been paying any attention to what Arizona has gone through in the last two years.
Sen. Lewis has stood up for Arizona. Now let’s stand up for him. We urge you to re-elect Sen. Jerry Lewis.
