Our Story

The Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry, established in 1974, has played a significant role in representing and advocating for the business community in Arizona. It originated in Phoenix with the primary objective of enhancing Arizona's economy by promoting business-friendly policies.

Over the decades, the Chamber has evolved into a powerful entity that influences public policy at both the state and federal levels.

Known for its non-partisan approach, the Chamber supports candidates and policies that align with its mission, regardless of political affiliation. Its Political Action Committee (PAC) plays a vital role in advancing pro-business policies by financially supporting candidates who champion these priorities.

The Arizona Chamber’s leadership and advocacy efforts have earned statewide recognition, including being named "Public Policy Leader of the Year" by the Arizona Capitol Times. Representing a diverse membership of businesses employing over 300,000 Arizonans—from small enterprises to major corporations—the Chamber continues to be the voice of Arizona’s business community.
