PHOENIX (May 20, 2019)—The Arizona Chamber of Commerce & Industry is taking to social media this week to thank legislators for their support of legislation to dramatically improve transparency and reporting around the estimated 1.4 million square feet of empty and underutilized school facilities.
The ads on social media thank legislators for their support of Senate Bill 1161 and community partnerships that put empty schools to good use for their students and neighborhoods.
The ad campaign, touting every legislator—Democrat and Republican—who voted ‘YES’ on Senate Bill 1161, will run until the end of May.
