PHOENIX – Arizona Chamber of Commerce & Industry President and CEO Glenn Hamer released the following statement in anticipation of the July 1 start of the Chamber’s next fiscal year and the installation of a new chairman and a slate of new officers:
“As we close the books on our fiscal year, I want to thank our outgoing chairman, Alan Heywood of Amagine Communications. Alan has been with us every step of the way, getting personally involved when required and devoting many hours to ensuring the Chamber’s agenda is executed. Alan was so integral to our success this year and I can’t thank him enough for his service to Arizona’s business community.
“I anticipate continued success under the leadership of our new chairman, Jason Bagley, government affairs manager for Intel. Jason for several years chaired our Public Affairs Committee and has a deep understanding of the policy challenges facing Arizona businesses. With Jason as our chairman, I am confident the Arizona Chamber will remain the premier advocate for Arizona business.
“I congratulate Jason for being selected by his peers to helm the board and am looking forward to what I am sure will be a great year for business in Arizona.”
