PHOENIX – Arizona Chamber of Commerce & Industry President and CEO Glenn Hamer released the following statement following the announcement that Sandra Watson has been named the new president and CEO of the Arizona Commerce Authority:
“Gov. Brewer and her colleagues on the Arizona Commerce Authority board of directors made the absolute right pick in naming Sandra Watson as the permanent president and CEO of the ACA. As demonstrated by her exceptional quarterly job creation report at today’s board meeting, Sandra is already performing at a very high level.
“Using the job creation tools the governor and Legislature have put at the ACA’s disposal, I am confident that Sandra will be incredibly successful in her new post. All of us in the business community look forward to working with Sandra in strengthening Arizona’s economy and competitive position in the years to come.”
