Greater Phoenix Black Chamber and Tucson Hispanic Chamber newest P3 partners
PHOENIX – The Arizona Chamber of Commerce & Industry is proud to announce the Greater Phoenix Black Chamber of Commerce and the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce as its two newest Public Policy Participants (P3). These agreements further unite the Arizona business community and ensure that businesses of all sizes, from across the state, have their voice heard at the Arizona Capitol and with our federal partners.
The Arizona Chamber has had P3 partnerships with the Arizona Small Business Association and the Arizona Tooling and Machining Association and is pleased to welcome these new partners to the mix.
To further unite the collective voice of business, Kerwin Brown, chairman of the Greater Phoenix Black Chamber and Lea Márquez-Peterson, president and CEO of the Tucson Hispanic Chamber, joined the Arizona Chamber Board of Directors as two of its newest members. Kerwin and Lea both bring extensive expertise and influence to the Arizona Chamber.
In addition to his service with the Greater Phoenix Black Chamber, Brown serves as a manager with Nationwide Insurance and has been appointed as treasurer and western regional director for the United States Black Chamber, Inc.
Márquez-Peterson brings with her an extensive background in business, politics and public policy and has worked to build the Hispanic Chamber into a powerhouse in southern Arizona.
The Arizona Chamber is pleased to welcome Brown and Márquez-Peterson to the board and their organizations to the greater Arizona Chamber community.
Also joining the board of directors today are Rick Murray, the new CEO of the Arizona Small Business Association, and Craig Weiss, the president and CEO of NJOY. They join a board of over 90 leaders from across the Arizona business community.
